IWA L'EWA : THE ARCHITECTURE OF TRUE BEAUTY

In an era dominated by curated feeds and visual perfection, we often mistake the packaging for the product. We invest heavily in the external, polishing the facade while neglecting the foundation. Yet, the profound Yoruba philosophy of Iwa L’ewa offers a timeless correction to this modern imbalance: Character is Beauty.

This principle is not merely a poetic sentiment; it is a fundamental law of human connection and professional distinction. It suggests that while aesthetic appeal may command attention, it is the texture of one’s personality and the integrity of one’s spirit that commands respect.
Physical beauty and external adornments are, by nature, static. They do not act, they do not lead, and they do not solve problems. Relying solely on the "outlook" is akin to building a house with an exquisite coat of paint over a crumbling infrastructure. It may dazzle for a moment, but it cannot weather a storm.

True distinction lies in the architecture of the soul. When we strip away the titles and the attire, what remains is the only beauty that never requires a filter.
Integrity is the elegance of keeping your word; empathy is the grace of understanding others; and resilience is a strength that outshines any physical attribute.
In the professional realm, skills and appearance may get your foot in the door, but it is your character that keeps the room listening.

A leader is not defined by their silhouette, but by their substance.

To embrace Iwa L’ewa is to curate your personality with the same rigor you would your wardrobe. It is a conscious decision to prioritize kindness over coolness and reliability over radiance. It challenges us to ensure that our spirits are as well-groomed as our appearances.

Let this be a reminder that your most stunning accessory is not a garment or a status symbol—it is your reputation. It is the warmth of your spirit and the consistency of your values. By shifting our focus from the adornment of the self to the refinement of the soul, we achieve a form of beauty that is not only bespoke and polished but entirely transformative.

Ultimately, the beauty that resonates most deeply is not what we wear, but who we are.

It's the month of March again and indeed I will say it's been God and Grace at work. It's not been easy though but the courage to face the unknown world and give life a new perception and meaning to living is daily building me up. The journey to fulfilment started the day you decided to do things differently and passionately in order to achieve a great success and a name for yourself. March 2015 when I was leaving white collar job without any pay off I was weak emotionally but the determination to succeed outside the setting of the working environment and make a name for myself indeed had paved way for many open doors. I started building up my business brand today know as House Of Mo outfits, a registered fashion brand which is daily Rebranding into a trendy, unisex clothing and perfumery outfits at pocket friendly prices. This journey has also ushered me into meeting many people, public figures that I might never been opportuned to meet in life, my zeal to succeed in community development and humanity somehow found me in the political spheres and I sincerely appreciate my bosses and mentors who are daily shaping and mentoring me on becoming a better lady in community development and politics.

When I left white collar job ,it wasn't easy though but I took up the courage and decided to face the unknown future, many people I met in the office and left there weren't cool being there but some fear the unknown future and where the next meal will come from.....

It had been a long, rough, beautiful, painful, regrets and success, lost and achievements and here is MO still standing, I might have not gotten there yet but sure I am not where I used to be, it's all a journey and road to fulfilment of destiny, my On Becoming journey to the Empire of #HouseofMO outfits, a dream of mine.

Woman : You Are Worth More Than You Ever Think

My name is M'o Empress, am a woman who lives passionately, I love what I do and with much zeal I daily encourage and build other people around me especially other women. I try so much to live in a decent way so people could believe in me and listen to what I want to say. I want to build my brand, "House Of Mo outfits" to a household name in fashion, want to make impact in terms of raising the standards in my career and my priority is giving satisfaction to my customers .

Am a woman, created by God for a purpose in this generation and daily I work and try to discover more about this purpose I am fulfilling.  I work hard at being the best I can be. I do not wait for men to show me sympathy or beg them daily to survive because am a woman. I work hard , I invest my best and allow God to give the increase.

As a woman, you may not have all you want, you learn to be a good problem-solver, you learn to be resourceful and innovative in every area you find yourself, you don't know who is watching your input, recommendation will show forth someday soon.

As a woman,  major lesson for life is learning the ability to listen to God for life's decisions. Learn to be strong as a woman and be able to cope with whatever life throws your way. There is need to have mentors for different spheres of life. Daily, live your life, bringing glory to God and for the benefits of humanity. I have learnt that Life is not a hundred meter race but a marathon, never time yourself on somebody else' watch. When things go the other way from your plan, don't dwell on it,  move on with your life and go for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Never Give Up

Envision yourself to where you want to be. There is a You inside of You that is a blessing to t the this Generation and it is daily awaiting you to take the courageous step of building yourself for that place.

Never feel intimidated even when you are the least in line, your words and action might be the solution to the masterplan on the table, don't be discouraged even in the face of tough challenges because they are just phases of life that will go away soon, don't be weary when your hardwork is yet to pay off, someday it will break ground and success will come visiting.

Keep doing the best you can, be motivated daily by yourself to do much more, be inspire to succeed, be your own cheerleader always encouraging yourself even when no one sees the good in your humble beginning. You will get there, it's a matter of time, hard work, determination,  prayers and belief.

The Black Skin Girl

The Power of an African Black woman is the boldness, courage and determination to rise again despite her brokenness, rejection,  heartbreak and disappointment. When She takes her time to shut those amazing eyes and glance upwards, she is thinking of so many things and how to build that broken table again.  She is a lioness who would not give up even when all looks blurred. She is a beauty that can never fade, after the brokenness, she washes off the mud from  her black skin and she is up again, she is never weary in the face of battle, she knows she will overcome and always call herself a Conqueror.

I celebrate every black woman going through stuffs but still rise the head up, you are going to overcome this season,  it is just a phase and it will go away soon.
Keep being you, the imperfect black skin heroine working in the master plan of a Perfect Creator of the universe.

Daily learning about life, leadership, people and grooming myself to become better. Indeed, I have many flaws but trying to adjust and amend them in order not to hurt people or kill my dreams is Rebranding me daily.

Your Humble Gentle Girl
M'o Empress

Be watchful of your words

I learnt a great lesson and a reason to get more humble daily on this street and become more reasonable cause social media is a village where we don't know who and who lives there, the words you speak today will be used against you somewhere, somehow for either your uplifting or detriment...

Most times, we Youths, have used this platform to destroy our self-esteem and good recommendations all in the name of talking jargons on air. Everything we write, we post, we comment, they are seen and read by millions who we don't even know who they are or where we can ever meet them.

Please and please, I beg of us, let's be more respectful, civil and decent on our words we don't know how far it will go. Many of us hace gotten great recommendation and encouragement through this medium which has contributed immensely to our work in progress success story, social media has only made me to understand life more and had helped me learn not to tread on feets, if truly you want to get far and high in life. Many eyes are watching you, many mouths will defend or accuse you on the day of recommendation,, for me I will keep being myself and even adjust my flaws and errors.

Thank you so much, may we be recommended for good in life🙏🙏🙏🙏. I love you all and promise to be more and more patriotic and seek the good of our dear country.

     Yours
      M'o Empress

Community development lies in our hands : Community Service is Required for the Growth of The Land.

Your impact into community service is the greatest legacy you can give humanity in your name. If your grassroot is not impacted with your personality and humanitarian assistance you have not contributed your quota.

You can positively impact the lives of people around you which is going to change and impact so many directly or indirectly.  Community Service has helped many lives through empowerment programmes, creation of social amenities and welfare to the community and help community development.

We cannot expect the Government to fully provide for our different communities but if members of each communities have a responsibility of contributing their quota in helping to provide community service.

Community Service is the legacy Youth can give back to the Society

Life is more beautiful and gives new meaning when you begin to do things differently and see life in another perspective,  community service is an eye opener to me and it had really shown how much  our leaders had failed in creating social amenities and welfare to the people at grassroot.

Community Service has made my passion for humanity grow with much awe. I give kudos to my fellow comrades at Remo Youth Association for the opportunity to discover my gift in humanitarian work and building of the nation not just on social media or with pen but by getting involved in community services at the grassroot. Your legacy doesn't lie in what you have but in how many lives you impacted with the smallest gift even a smile on their face.

Remo Youth Association Executives and leaders pays visit to Special Children center in Sagamu and Nigeria  Correctional service in Sagamu as part of their community service to Remo towns.
